The Great MK Bake Off!

What happens when you are home to 100 of the most exciting food businesses in London? You eat, drink, and chat together of course!

For this social, join member Chloë as she hosts Mission Kitchen bake off! Take a break from making your own product to get hands on in the demo kitchen to make something else completely different.

It's upcycling week in the Mission Kitchen tent. And the mystery ingredient is: APPLE FIBRE.  The fibrey pulp leftover from making juice/cider.  You are invited to unleash your creative juices (pun intended) to turn what's typically thrown away, into something that is mouthwateringly delicious.  A biscuit?  A drink?  A cake?  A chocolate?  A sausage?  A gummie?  SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT.

You will have: a mixture of pantry baking staples from flours to eggs and butter, as well as a few unusual ingredients such as gelling agents, powders etc..

How this works: 12 spots in the demo kitchen. First come first served on the ingredients table.  Then you will have 60 minutes to create.  Literally anything goes.  As long as it's edible and delicious.

As host, Chloë will provide some seasonal/pumpkin snacks, MK will provide the ingredients and as always, the booze.
