Founder Q&A: Oppo Brothers & Momo Kombucha

About the event

For this Q&A, we will be learning from Harry Thuillier, co-founder of Oppo Brothers, and Lisa Puddle, co-founder of Momo Kombucha.

Both businesses are neighbours of Mission Kitchen, being based within New Covent Garden Market. And both are B Corps, a rigourous certification assessing a company’s performance against five key categories: governance, workers, customers, community, and the environment.

Oppo Brothers was established in 2011 by brothers Harry and Charlie, on a mission to change the way people eat by creating amazingly tasty foods that don’t compromise on health or the planet. The result? Healthy ice cream! So far, since launch Oppo have saved 5.32bn calories from people’s diet or 600,000kg of fat as they chose Oppo over standard ice cream. As the recipients of multiple Great Taste Awards, they have not compromised on taste or quality.

Momo Kombucha was founded by Josh and Lisa Puddle, who discovered kombucha on a trip to New York in 2016. They returned to London inspired to start home brewing kombucha. They now have larger commercial premises but still remain committed to brewing completely unfiltered kombucha, in small glass jars with organic ingredients.
