Founders Q&A: Street Food Special with KERB

About the event

Join us for some lively discussion about the highs and lows of making it in the food business world.

At these talks, London's top food founders will be sharing their stories with us about how they built their businesses. This is an open session where we encourage participants to get involved and ask any burning questions you might have.

For this Q&A, we will be hearing from street food founders Rupert Avery and Lily Bovey, plus KERB's Head of Food Charlie Casey.

Rupert is the co-founder of Dos Mas Tacos, bringing authentic Mexican street food to the city of London. They are currently serving up tacos, nachos and more from Pergola Paddington and previously at KERB National Theatre. Rupert has been KERB member since 2019 after completing the inKERBator programme.

Lily is the founder of STAKEHAUS, an all-female street food operation serving up mouth-watering steak and fries at Camden Market and KERB National Theatre. Lily has been a KERB member since 2015.

Charlie is Head of Food at KERB and a seasoned market operator, having also been at Street Feast for 3.5 years. He's worked with 100s of market traders in his time, so knows a thing or two about how to make it big in street food.

Mission Kitchen is incredibly excited to be collaborating with KERB on this Q&A. KERB have been at the forefront of the London street food scene since 2009, seeking out and supporting London's most exciting street food talent to thrive and grow. They operate markets and food halls all around the city and we have several KERB members here at MK as members too!
