This workshop is hosted by Hugh Richard Wright, an independent restaurant PR and communications specialist with over ten years’ experience of working with hospitality businesses – from casual street food chains to globally-renowned, Michelin-starred restaurants, food delivery brands and charities.
Having started his career in food as a restaurant blogger, Hugh went on to become a freelance journalist specialising in dining trends. He then went in-house as communications director of Aqua Restaurant Group, which operates over 20 restaurants on three continents, before setting up his PR and communications consultancy in 2015.
While he works with businesses of all sizes, his particular passion is for helping small, independent, owner-operated businesses to achieve high-impact, cost-effective PR within their budget – whatever it might be.
